So does Jammin 85.3. Hell all the stations on the net need DJ's. There are more stations then DJ's to go around....

how do you become a dj, and do you have to have your own music for it?

Post 6 by FlyingPhoenix (move over school!) on Saturday, 24-Mar-2007 1:17:59

well I know my station is music from bought cds only

Post 7 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Monday, 26-Mar-2007 5:33:32

For Jamin having your own music is good but if you don't have any I'm sure some of us can help you out some. Though if you've got some CD's to rip, a mike, and Winamp and can provide a good show then you're all game

LOL, Justin ... quite the negative one, aren't you? Who's to say your station's any better? Hehehehe.
I would never apply for a DJ position because I'd be laughed at. Takes a lot of guts to do that sorta thing, I think, so kudos to those who do it.

I'm looking to become a dj for a station, just not sure which one, lol.

Be advised that you are discussing broadcasting for other stations on a topic set up to promote one station, this being ground 0 radio. The promoting tactics of Justin and Kerry in particular could be taken as somewhat offencive, as if you're atempting to cut off someone's promotion of one station for the benefit of your own. I sincerely advise that this shan't continue.

if you people would show people how to DJ and be willing to help them learn maybe you would have more Dj's. Just my opinion.

At the risk of sounding condescending, as people have told me I am wont to do: Nick, remember who you're addressing. Intelligence enough to realize such a fact as you've mentioned requires working brain cells, to which few of the persons in question can barely attest to.

The Create New Topic button is readily available. If you want to promote your own stuff, click it, use it, and promote it on the new post, not on someone else's.

I think that it's only fair recompense if we were to go advertise other things on these offenders' posts regarding their own broadcasting venues, yes?
